We will teach you how to exercise so you get the maximum impact with the minimum time commitment. We will help you achieve "perfect form" in your teacher-led exercises so you achieve a balance of strength, endurance, and tone. We call ourselves the School for Healthy Living because we have learned over the years that it is our emphasis on education that makes a long-term difference in our clients lives.

We Don't Sell Memberships, We Change Lives.
Most fitness centers and gyms have a simple business model: they sell monthly memberships. Locking their clients into long-term contracts, and then more than 97% of their members come less than once per month. It's clear -- they make their money by selling memberships that won't help most people really get in shape or improve their health. So it's no surprise, those gyms focus on doing extremely well with membership sales! At the GH School for Healthy Living, we don't sell memberships. We only sell one-on-one time with our Chicago personal trainers and educators who can help you change your health and your life in two hours per week. You can customize your sessions according to your goals and you'll have the education we teach, with you forever. So it should be no surprise, we focus on getting great results for our clients with sustainable results! Our business is helping clients make sustainable life changes over time, and it's a unique business model amongst big fitness centers and gyms.
We Don't Hire Trainers, We Make Trainers.
Search on the internet and you will literally find hundreds of "schools" offering official certifications for personal trainers ranging from $49.99 to a few thousand dollars for a 12 week course. We found most of the up-market gyms and fitness centers brag about their trainer certifications - but those certifications can be gotten through online courses in 12 weeks of self-study and passing a standardized test that may or may not be supplemented with hands-on training. So even if you are paying top-dollar at a fitness center for a personal trainer, you just don't know what you are really getting.
At the GH School for Healthy Living, our founder Greg Hahaj focuses on making world-class trainers. Of course, GH trainers are all certified but we believe that the book smarts you need to get certified is the starting point - not the ending point of learning to be a personal trainer. Greg works individually with each GH trainer and teaches them everything from the basics of weightlifting and nutrition, to the fundamentals of smart exercise, how to maximize building muscle tissue, how to build customized training programs to get maximum results, and how to help clients achieve sustainable changes in their lives.
