Time Magazine recently ran a story with a headline that grabbed plenty of attention, “Why Exercise Won’t Make You Thin.” Shocking, ehh? Well, we here at GH personal trainers loved it and our clients have it over and over again. Most people think they can cardio their way to weight loss, but what happens after they do cardio is that indulge in some extra calories, and often empty calories at that. So focusing on physical exercise alone often leads people to frustratingly ADD WEIGHT instead of subtract it.
When your strategy for weight loss is just burning calories (which is cardio), then you have to have a laser like focus on what you are eating, how much you are eating, and you must eat less the day or week you slow down on your cardio.
